Hmm. About my gimmicky improved graphics thingy.

I think it would be possible if:

* The major/main mod creators/staff find out and learn the programming language that spore was made with

* The aforementioned users would find a way to make opengl glsl shaders (like in minecraft) be read by the programming language, and seemingly spore.

* The aforementioned users would learn to script in GLSL/opengl/whatevs and have a good taste in brightness/contrast and overall atmosphere.
Just another fellow user.

It's possible to improve Spore's graphics using Reshade. I'm planning a V0.2 public release soon

Use your imagination....
Perhaps the Spore Creatures stumble onto the planet Earth, finding humans to be inferior. The Spore Creatures
need housing built, slaves to cultivate, need to eat...

At the bottom of the first post, in fairly big text ;)

Here's the mod separated in components, so you only install what you want: https://www.mediafire.com/folder/rfkr18 ... irst_Steps

Warning: Hand-held objects fall through the planet surface in the 1.5x planet. In the 3x planet, collisions don't work correctly.

If you're after specifically "Next Steps" rather than "First Steps", I do believe Next Steps is still in development, and I doubt an unfinished version will be released.

I have an identity crisis every time I go online to be honest.

Anyways I think we should get back to being on topic.

Brilliant.
Now if only I could get more leaves to import properly.

This mod would be a lot easier to develop if it weren't for the random chance of that not working. And don't tell me to just use SporeMaster models, because those can't have deform handles.

I think a lot of real life animals, alive and extinct, have features that would make for excellent parts.

Image
Opabinia has a plethora of interesting parts.

Image
Image
This prehistoric elephant had quite a mouth. It is unknown if it had a trunk or not, so both mouths (or a morph between them) should be included.

Image
Mantis shrimps have very interesting eyes. They have depth perception in each eye and they can see far more colors than a human can.

Image
Trilobites have a variety of amazing features, including their eyes. http://www.trilobites.info/eyes.htm

Image
That beak and those wings would be cool.

Image
That mouth could be really useful.

Image
Amazing wings.

Image
Image
Helicoprion is great.

Do you still need help with flora editor parts? I could create some concepts for them, and possibly even some 3D models. Not now, though. In a moth, surelly.

Is anyone still working on this? You guys can take my space mods as I develop them. If you would like information about what I have done up to this point, check here: viewtopic.php?f=123&t=5268

Would be cool to combine mods.
