Dragging creations into editor during game (and saving)

Please keep in mind that if your request is not granted immediately, that doesn't mean it never will be. Sooner or later, someone may well pop in and try to make it happen. Patience is a virtue. Just...don't go around begging and annoying people over it.
Additionally, be aware that while the Spore ModAPI has empowered mod developers like never before, our ability to add "new" functionality still has its limits, so if there's nothing in Spore that can already do it, we may not be able to either. Nothing is lost in asking, but don't get your hopes up, especially not for anything really big.

Dragging creations into editor during game (and saving)
I believe this one is... A bit easy to understand ^^ I want to be able to drag the creature into the game so that I can, for example, re-create evolution of my species without the need to make them from the scratch. Is it possible?
Re: Dragging creations into editor during game (and saving)
well, in creature stage sorta.
if you press CTRL+SHIFT+C and type in EVOADVANTAGE
you can start a new creature stage as any creature you have made either in the out of game editor or from any previous creature game!

Oh, yes, I know about that one. Still, I would prefer to be able to re-create whole species' evolution in the creature stage and their outfit in the later stages ;?

that makes no sense.

Re: Dragging creations into editor during game (and saving)
Hm... Maybe I will try to explain what that mod should do in the first place instead.
Whenever you enter the editor from the menu, you can drag into it any creature from the desktop and save it.
You can't do it in game, though.
That is what I would like to be changed, so that I could drag creatures into in-game editor.
