davo, can u plz change the new editor background to the original, it lags my game like crazy!

I am getting that same crash when i go in the sporepedia and I click the bottom of the box and it crashes. What should I do?

I'm making a fix for the unviewable creations, the weird background, and the test drive background. it looks more like a DS style background. pics coming, feel free to add to 8.01.
Spore is creative, even the mods and hacks.
Or, should I say, especially the mods and hacks?

I keep getting a glitch in the creature creator where all the darkspore parts are strangely invisible. I don't know what the heck is up here, but I NEED THIS FIXED...

Hey, xDoomsoulx here.

The toggleditorbackground console command still works as usual so that's a good temporary solution for those who don't want to use the new background.

Just testing everything out Davo, everything seems to be going fine so far. I've re-texture 'King Asmodeus' and the texturing works fine for a creation built to be a few parts away from breaking the paint mode. I dare say that the DI textures render several times quicker than the normal Spore textures on my machine plus I have noticed that saves on high complexity creations are now quicker.

EDIT: Done some more scanning around and I can (kind of) confirm that strangely enough the SporeApp.exe *32 process actually is using less RAM than the previous versions. Everything is still stable and I have had no problems.

If it helps you in anyway testing-wise, I'll run you by my PC spec (even though everything is stable)

ok, fixed the issue. file is reuploading.

removed the cool editor look and reverted back to the normal plain boring look from before for all of you babies who asked 3 or 4 times before i could reply.

and thanks doom, i was unaware of how much DI was consuming!

cant wait to see some new creations with the better textures. and everyone should thank HelmoChipChop for discovering and putting countless hours and days to making this update possible.

yea! 3 downloads, 1 for the deafult editor, 1 for the new editor, and 1 for the 7.0.1 editor! :D

As in an additional 'package' file which we could optionally d-load which would add a button in the editor which could toggle that editor background.

davo can you make it so that in the creature editor all the parts are white, including the torso. for nostalgic purposes :D

I don't know if I'm doing this right... but right after I save my creation after adding the new abilities, the game crashes and gets this error.

Something like that. I'm running Windows 7 64 bit by the way. Also, when you roll over the parts, the parts appear black. I don't know if this is intended or not. Also, the colors for the original parts are a bit... reversed. Like, the Detail colors instead of the usual Coat colors affect Wrottontail parts.

I did get those files and put all of them in the Data directory of Spore Galactic Adventures. Also, the previous versions of Dark Injection worked. So, it can't be the order I installed Spore.

By the way, great mod. The new editor is so much better because the camera can go underneath the creature, which can be useful if you want to add shoes and hide the feet. I really like the creature abilities as well! It's going to be very useful so I won't have to resort to amphibian feet to give my Mario creature lv. 5 jump. :)

did you download it in the past 30 minutes? i have fixed it and re-uploaded it about 30 minutes ago.
