Sorry, i have some problem...
When i play spore galactic adventure ,and when i put galactic captain part to my creature , the game suddenly error and quit automatically ......
how i solve this problem???

HelmoChipChop and Davo: I am going to be making some abilities, if you want to use them for the newest DI, such as rapid fireball, infectious touch, rapid energyball, and maybe some more parts. 8-)
Spore is creative, even the mods and hacks.
Or, should I say, especially the mods and hacks?

I was thinking of doing the same thing, but for the Crogenitor masks. Making them serve more than a cosmetic purpose. For example try to manipulate thr puking animation to work as Orcus' Vile Breath attack and arrange for it to use the appropriate DS texture, seeing as I've found the particle textures as well (weapon beams, bullets, flames, etc.). I was going to also try to have the Hero mouths use their respective DS sounds, as well as tether the Destructor's voices to their masks maybe. Hell, if that happened then I'd say all we'd need is a blood mod and viola, a fan-created Expansion.

EDIT

Did anyone notice Sage's high-level blasters are wrong? The two unused ones on the bottom of the 2nd page (all-white) are supposed to be his instead of Meditron's.

Has anyone thought about making a healing weapon? I was thinking of using the same code as the healing rods from the tribal stage. I looked into doing this once myself, but didn't get very far.

A healing weapon will not work on allies. You will have to also fix the attack's targeting so that it works on sociable creatures only.

Until someone finds out how or tells us the animated texture might be on a long hiatus unfortunately. Also what is wrong with the cell parts?

W=Forward Move
A=Left Move
S=
D=Right Move
Space Keybord=Jump

If the animated textures take a long time, lets not let the animated texture postpone the release of 7.0.8. If it does take a long time to figure out animated textures, just save it for 7.1.0 or whatever the next version will be. This update might be just a proper texture update than an animated texture update, but only if it takes a long time to figure the animated textures out. Just a suggestion. Anyway Helmo, have you searched the phrase "Emissive" in the Darkspore Textures?

It will not postpone the release of this. This coming update is just a texture paintability fix for the parts. Until the glowing and animated textures are made possible I was thinking of changing the part textures to have the sections that normally have the glow, be colored by the Detail paint layer as a placeholder.

I did search Emissive, nothing in Arenas_Textures.package, I did find that labeled in the Other.package though.

Does the file with the phrase "Emissive" in other.package have anything remotely related to textures (other than emissive) in it?

Yes, they have their own strings and association with RGB values. No luck with it though, still looking into it.

I was looking through package names in darkspore and I just guessed the effects might be in the effects.package Probably not though, I opened it in sporemaster but all I found were ?'s in diamonds, and I don't know what that means
