Edit: Well, I reinstalled it again, but the colors are still messed up. I used the 2012_DI_v8b.package.
And after I saved, I got the pure virtual function call crap again.

I downloaded V8 and I love it!!!
A HUGE thanks to the DI Team, you guys did an outstanding job!
BTW, I noticed, that most of the parts, when I view them in the editor, are invisible. The ones, that ARE visible however are completely white, kinda like in Darkspore.
The Apoc Weapons are still not displayed correctly on my creatures. (some display as swords, others are invisible)
I also got to know, that I'm unable to view creatures from the Sporepedia, as it causes the game to crash.
But still, the Darkspore Textures are AWESOME! Helmo, you are a god amongst modders!

EDIT: I'm also unable to save my creatures. I really hope, that this will be fixed.

The mod is really good. Nice colors and attacks.
But why are the parts one the begin invisible and when I want to see one of my creations the game crashed!!
Can you fix this please, it's really anoying.

Now I've reinstalled the mods, and now I don't see them whatsoever! No change! I think this could be a newfangled incompatibility with BetterSpore (which I have as well) but it could be that I have an iMac and somefink is wrong, or something different entirely.

But I hope it'll once again work like it did with 7.0.5!

I hope everyone who downloads v8 realizes they are its Beta testers. I know it's been a long time coming, but between HelmoChipChop and Davo putting all that time in it, along with everyone asking when it will be released, Beta debugging is sorta expected from everyone.
P.S. Hey Davo, when is v.9 coming out? LOL...

Dude, U dont Need GA or even patch 5.1! I played it on an unpatched, unmodded core spore with only minor bugs. But that was DI 7.0.1 (attached)

no need to fluff up, I've already lost all my content twice now, once because of a corrupted hard drive that I had to wipe, and another time because of an entire computer failure. If your spore game broke, it was probably not something rob did, unless he broke into your house.

please explain what parts are not showing. did you install both arenas files?
where do they not show, in the editor list where you select parts? on the creature? where?

One question: are the glitchy parts such as the Necrowing and some others whose name I can't recall right now fixed? It's not a matter of life and death, but it really, really bugs me to see the parts doing that.
