Captain Abilities in the Creature Stage

Please keep in mind that if your request is not granted immediately, that doesn't mean it never will be. Sooner or later, someone may well pop in and try to make it happen. Patience is a virtue. Just...don't go around begging and annoying people over it.
Additionally, be aware that while the Spore ModAPI has empowered mod developers like never before, our ability to add "new" functionality still has its limits, so if there's nothing in Spore that can already do it, we may not be able to either. Nothing is lost in asking, but don't get your hopes up, especially not for anything really big.

Captain Abilities in the Creature Stage

Hey Davo! I have downloaded your DarkInjection mod and built a creature with Darkspore parts, C&C, and Captain parts. I am trying to use the creature in the Creature Stage, but I am not allowed to use the Captain parts in-game. It only allows me to use the Bladed Knuckles part through a glitch, and for a limited time in which my creature (I'd assume) runs out of energy which isn't even there. I have also added the FetiiPopper part to it and am not able to use it in socialization at all. Lastly, there are the two jetpack-esque parts. I am not able to fly or hover with them. I am wanting to know if someone can make a mod to allow the use of Captain parts in the Creature Stage.

Well, NPCs can use the captain abilities in Creature stage, if there are any with captain parts.

I mean so that the player's creature can use them without a glitch, but with a mod.

There are other modders out there. If you'd like to contact them, you can visit the http://www.sporbase.com forums or http://www.sporemodding.com The two you should be looking for are Galactic God and Vexx. Vexx is most often on Spore Modding, and God is most often on SporeBase.
They (or the community in general) may be able to help you. Though I'm sure Davo could probably do this, he's got a lot on his plate right now! (especially with his work on the next version of DarkInjection).

yes i am sorry i havent been active, i do have alot going on right now.
for some reason, some of those abilities dont become active until certain stages.
i think is kindof works like how we dont get that cool zap ability once we leave the water.
