When we were talking about the blood effects on the 2006 thread, I came up with a blood effect-related idea that I felt would fit this mod more. These blood effects would be special effects to be used in the adventure editor. Hopefully they're both possible.

1. Blood Splatter: Blood Splatter would be the Darkspore blood effect. It'd be a oneshot effect, like the mushroom cloud explosions.
2. Blood Pool: This is a rather simple effect. It'd simply be the pond effect retextured to be red. It'd be a nature effect.

This is the last I'm going to mention of blood effects...

To the first thing, we'll try to make it compatible with the rest of the mods.
To the second one, depends. If they have the mod, yes. About sharing your modded creations, I think there's a trick for it, that should work with this too.

We already have a shorter model, though it has yet to be animated.

will the files be separated in a zip file in case you dont want some of the features? like only having the 2006 style editor or just the parts.

Yes, and we will provide an automatic installer where you'll be able to select the features you want to install.

rob55rod wrote:To those of you who are looking forward to seeing parts from Alien Planet added, I have some good news and some bad news. The good news is, I'm about to do the first test run of the first Alien Planet-inspired part! The bad news is, it's gonna take quite a while to create all these models

EDIT: Progress:
