I by no means intend to intrude or interrupt whatever you've been up to, or where-ever you have been, must be important due to the length of absence, but it would really satisfy my curiosity to know if Spore UGS is still in the works, has ended, or is merely on hold?

In addition to the default textured bot parts? I don't mind, but I hope (eventually, not necessarily soon) that the original color mod may be fixed to work in synergy with DI 9.r, unless I decide to replace all the bot panels on pre-existing creations to the new, texture-less, color-intended variants

I know this is a mod by Davo already, as I have been using it for a while and don't recall removing it, but it seems DI 9.r doesn't yet support it? I'm not sure if this counts as a bug, or if the latest DI beta overwrites the bot parts and the color-mod for them, maybe this could considered as an op...

Update: I went into my game, the captain editor loaded up my captain in the creature editor, and all works as should, until I save the captain and exit it's editor, back to the game- it crashes, and upon booting up again, the sporepedia shows my edits didn't overwrite the captain, but instead saved ...

I believe you can download the patches from online, without having to run the game or be logged in, it's been useful to me since the servers have been down.
I got patches 1.5, and 6 both from moddb

Bump Hold up, could we just have a part's model that's very very thin/tiny, but in a way it's still modifiable? Make a part for the vehicle editors, that can be stretched like normal parts, but has an extremely thin/small model, that has no viewable surfaces, but can still be used. Or, even better, ...

A paint, with a blank/transparent texture. Can be used, not specifically to give your vehicles an invisible paint job, or to cloak it, but to suspend parts in places you normally couldn't.
