Oh it's possible, but I'm not sure if we've figured it out yet. A member on SporeBase (due to a conflict of two mods) actually had this happen accidentally, so it MUST be possible.

Where do you have your mods installed, and in what order did you install your patches?
Also, please list all the .package files in your Spore_EP1/Data folder.

Actually, you can already do this with a hack.

Unfortunately, it's not infallible, as most creature parts will not show up in other editors, nor can they be easily edited. Still, it's worth a shot!

First of all, a part creator would have to be a second program, not in the game itself. Second, the part creator would not encompass creating your own model for the part- you'd have to do that yourself.
