I made a good spore part, but it's not importing into the project properly. I triangulated the mesh, normalized all weights, added keyframes to each bone in each frame (though that really intuitively doesn't at all seem like what I should do, are you sure you can't phrase it better?), added material...

Okay...I still have no remote idea what to do once I have a rw4 file because the SporeModder only opens package files and for some reason there's 0 instructions anywhere on how to write a properties file for this spore, it's not something you can just randomly guess at and hope to get right, not th...

Part models don't have idle animations. Feet do, however, have an animation for bending as the creature walks, so...there's that. No idea what the hash is for that animation though. (Good news though: that animation is optional...heck, limbs are the only type of model which needs any kind of animat...

For some reason the page that had all the information I was looking for somehow vanished from the website. It had nearly all the instructions but now there's just a mostly vague page that only gives the basic installation process. I have no idea how to make it so that a model has those morph arrows ...

What do I do with a part after I've exported it from blender? There's no .rw4 file extension in any of the spore folders.

Alright, and for the UV maps, does it need to be that really basic smoothly connected UV map like in the tutorial or can I define the seams and have different parts scattered about?
